Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of spreadloveandacceptance.com and The Objective Ledger™ (TOL-OS) framework, including all free tools, the printable infographic, the manuscript, the workpapers, and the paid "Spread Love & Acceptance Relationship Survival Kit" membership (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Patrick Christian Andrews ("we," "us," or "the operator"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

The Service is a self-help educational framework combining conceptual models drawn from bookkeeping, contract theory, and nervous-system science to help individuals and couples examine household workload and communication patterns. Free components include the Nervous System Ladder, the Lemonade Stand calculator, and the printable Infographic Executive Summary. The paid membership provides ongoing access to manuscript chapters, workpapers, and calculators as they are released.

The Service is educational and self-help content only. It is not therapy, counseling, medical advice, mental health treatment, or legal or financial advice, and no professional relationship of any kind is formed by using it. See Section 05 (Disclaimers) for more detail.

Subscription & Billing

The paid membership is billed on a recurring monthly basis through Gumroad, a third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you authorize Gumroad to charge your chosen payment method automatically each billing cycle until you cancel.

  • Billing, payment processing, and receipts are handled entirely by Gumroad — we do not directly receive or store your payment card details.
  • You may cancel your membership at any time through your Gumroad account (library.gumroad.com) or by contacting us at the email in Section 10.
  • Cancellation stops future billing; it does not automatically entitle you to a refund of the current billing period. See our Refund Policy for details.
  • Pricing may change with reasonable advance notice posted on the Service; continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

Intellectual Property

All manuscript text, workpapers, calculators, diagrams, and named frameworks (including "The Objective Ledger," "TOL-OS," and related terms marked with ™) are the intellectual property of the operator. Use of the ™ symbol indicates a claimed trademark and does not represent that any mark is federally registered.

Your membership grants a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and use the Service's content for your own household's private use. You may not resell, redistribute, publicly republish, or create derivative commercial products from the manuscript, workpapers, or calculators without prior written permission.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Nothing in the Service constitutes medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. The frameworks described (including the Nervous System Ladder, the Verdict Engine, and P(Solvency)) are heuristic self-reflection tools, not validated clinical or scientific instruments, and are not a substitute for consultation with a qualified therapist, counselor, physician, attorney, or financial advisor. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, domestic conflict involving safety concerns, or any medical emergency, contact appropriate emergency services or a qualified professional directly — do not rely on this Service.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of relationship, income, or data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. The operator's total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the membership in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for any user who violates these Terms, including unauthorized redistribution of paid content. You may terminate your own access at any time by canceling your membership as described in Section 03.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Virginia.
