Get the app
Put the whole site on your phone or computer as an app. It gets its own icon, opens full screen with no address bar, and keeps working when your signal drops for the pages you’ve opened (the core pages are saved when you install). It is free, and it installs under the name Spread Love & Acceptance. Pick your phone first:

Install it with Chrome on an Android phone or tablet
- Open spreadloveandacceptance.com in Chrome. Use a normal tab, not an Incognito one.
- Tap the three dots at the top right of Chrome.
- Tap Install app. If you only see Add to Home screen, tap that and then choose Install.
- Tap Install once more to confirm. The icon with the two little bubbles lands on your home screen.
- Open it from there. It opens full screen, like an app you downloaded.
If the button above is showing, you can tap it instead of doing steps 2 to 4.
Another browser on Android?
- Samsung Internet: tap the menu (three lines), then Add page to, then Home screen. Newer versions also show an install icon in the address bar.
- Firefox: tap the three dots, then Install.
- Edge: tap the three dots, then Add to phone.
If the install option doesn’t show
- Update Chrome from the Play Store. Install needs a fairly recent version.
- Make sure you are on spreadloveandacceptance.com itself, not inside another app’s built-in browser. Tap the three dots and choose Open in Chrome.
- Stay on the site for a few seconds first. Chrome sometimes waits a moment before it offers to install.
- Already installed? Look in your app drawer for Spread Love & Acceptance. Chrome only offers Install once.
- To remove it later, press and hold the icon and choose Uninstall. Anything saved in it stays only on your phone.
Install on iPhone and iPad
Apple doesn’t let any website install itself with one button, so on an iPhone or iPad it takes two taps in Safari. It is free, with no account. On an iPhone or iPad, tap Install below and an arrow points to the right place on your screen.
- Tap Share (the square with an arrow pointing up) in Safari’s toolbar. With iOS 26, tap ··· at the bottom right first, then Share.
- Tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.
Then find the new icon, Spread Love & Acceptance, on your Home Screen and open it from there. It opens full screen, like an app you downloaded.
Not in Safari?
- Inside another app (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Gmail and others): tap its menu and choose Open in Safari or Open in browser first. Those apps can’t add things to your Home Screen.
- Chrome (iOS 16.4 or newer): tap Share in the address bar at the top right, then Add to Home Screen.
- Edge (iOS 16.4 or newer): tap ··· at the bottom, then Share, then Add to Home Screen.
- On an iPad, Safari’s Share button is at the top right.
What you get on iPhone and iPad
- Its own icon on your Home Screen, with its name under it.
- Full screen, with no browser bars, and its own start-up screen while it opens.
- Pages you have opened keep working without a connection. The first time you open the app, it saves the core pages, the games and the tools for offline use.
- Nothing you type is sent anywhere. It stays on your iPhone or iPad.
- No App Store account, and updates arrive by themselves.
Honest notes
- No vibration on iPhone. iPhones don’t let a web page make the phone vibrate, so the “feel the sound” buzz only works on Android. You can still see and hear everything.
- No notifications. The app doesn’t send notifications. If you would like a reminder, Start in 10 minutes can put one in your own calendar.
- Its own saved things. On iPhone and iPad, the Home Screen app keeps what you save separate from Safari. What you saved in Safari stays in Safari, and the app starts fresh.
- A long name. On a small screen, the label under the icon may be cut short with “…”. You can change the name in the Add screen before you tap Add.
- Not in the App Store. There is no App Store version. Adding it from Safari gives you the whole app, free.
- To remove it, press and hold the icon and choose the option to remove or delete it. Anything saved in it stays only on your device until then.

Install it on Windows 10 or 11
It installs as a web app: its own window and icon, no store and no download page. Use Edge or Chrome.
- Open spreadloveandacceptance.com in Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome.
- Look at the right end of the address bar for the small install icon (a screen with a down arrow, or a plus). Click it.
- No icon? Open the menu (the three dots at the top right). In Edge choose Apps, then Install this site as an app. In Chrome choose Cast, save and share, then Install page as app.
- Click Install. If it offers, tick Pin to taskbar and Pin to Start.
- It opens in its own window. Find it any time in the Start menu under Spread Love & Acceptance.
It keeps working without a connection once you have opened pages, and updates by itself. To remove it later, open the app, click the three dots in its title bar and choose Uninstall, or use Settings, then Apps.
Firefox on Windows doesn’t install web apps, but the site works fine in a normal tab. There is no Microsoft Store version: the installed app is the whole thing, free.

On a Mac or Linux computer
- Open spreadloveandacceptance.com in Chrome or Edge.
- Click the small install icon at the right end of the address bar (a screen with a down arrow).
- Click Install. It opens in its own window and gets its own icon.
Safari on a Mac: choose File, then Add to Dock. Firefox doesn’t install web apps, but the site works fine in a normal tab.
What you get
- An icon on your home screen, like any other app.
- Full screen, with no browser bars in the way.
- The games, tools, chat and cartoons keep working without a connection once you have opened them.
- On Android, press and hold the icon for quick jumps: Today’s Weather, Upset right now?, Share the load and the Night Garden.
- Nothing you type is sent anywhere, the same as on the website. It stays on your phone.
- No store account, and updates arrive by themselves. Once installed, the app saves an offline copy of about 7 MB, once (the website alone saves almost nothing until you open a page).
Can it have widgets?
No, and here is the plain reason. A real Android widget, the kind that sits on your home screen and updates itself, has to be built into a downloaded Android app. An app that Chrome installs from a website can’t add one, and the standard for web widgets only works on Windows right now. We would rather tell you that than fake it.
Two things get you close today:
- Press and hold the app icon (Android). A short list of quick jumps pops up, and you can drag any of them out onto your home screen as its own icon.
- Pin a single page. Open one of these, then use the browser menu and Add to Home screen. You get a one-tap tile for just that page.
A true widget, such as a daily small moment or a one-tap Breathe, would mean building a native app that wraps this site. That is a much bigger project, so there is no widget today.
Try this: Once it is on your home screen, open it and try Start in 10 minutes. It is a good first thing to do with a new app.
