What is Pause & Play? It’s the calm corner of the site, and every game on it is here: gentle games for when your mind needs a rest. Breathe in the Night Garden, play Tidbit and Sugarfoot’s Arcade, wander the Bears Dojo, move the ball in the Re-check Drive, spell words in Word Bloom, solve a crossword, find words in a quiet word search, or make a cartoon music video. There are no timers and no way to lose.
Every level you finish counts, and now and then something new appears in the living garden behind every page and joins the animals playing there. My garden keeps a list of everything that has arrived. A few minutes here is a lovely way to settle before a hard conversation, or to wind down at night. Nothing you type or choose is sent anywhere.
