Our little logo

Meet Peach and Lilac. One is round and one is a squishy square, because nobody is wired quite the same. They share one heart between them, and they are very pleased about it. Snuggled in front are the two pups from the Journey: one leaner with a black mask and a big smile, one stocky with floppy ears, white feet and a gentle wag. They share a little heart of gold. That’s the whole idea of Spread Love & Acceptance: see each other fairly, and hold on kindly.

The lockups

The mark with the name beside it, or stacked on top. Use these where the name isn’t already on the page.

See it fairly. Say it kindly. For yourself and others.

That’s our tagline, and it sits under the name in both lockups. It says the whole idea in one breath: look at what happened fairly, say it with kindness, and do both for yourself as much as for the people around you. On the stacked version it breaks after “Say it kindly.” The small marks, the header icon and the browser-tab icon never carry words; they’re too small for them.

Headings are set in Fraunces and body text in Lora, the same as the rest of the site.

How to use it

Please do

  • Give them room: leave at least a heart’s width of space all around.
  • Use the full mark at 24px or bigger, and the tiny-size icon below that.
  • Keep the tagline readable: show the side-by-side lockup at 480px wide or more and the stacked one at 240px or more. Smaller than that, use the mark on its own.
  • Use the dark version on dark or busy backgrounds.
  • Save the winking one for happy, friendly moments.
  • When the mark stands alone, give it the alt text “Spread Love & Acceptance”. Next to the name, leave the alt text empty so screen readers don’t say it twice.

Please don’t

  • Stretch, squash, tilt or recolor them.
  • Split them up or take away their hearts.
  • Add shadows, glows or outlines of your own.
  • Put words in their mouths. They only ever say kind things.
  • Change the tagline’s words, or add text to the small marks.
  • Use them to poke fun at anyone. They’re here to make people feel welcome.

Downloads

The SVG lockups use Fraunces when it’s installed and a similar serif when it isn’t. For print or slides, the PNG versions look the same everywhere.
